It’s not just about commercial and industrial development; it’s the whole package that makes Frisco one of the top 100 places in the USA to settle down in.
History of Frisco Texas
Frisco began as a railroad town along the Shawnee Trail, and given the times, it was a place near where cowboys would meet and plan their trail drives. But as the cattle drives lessened, people began to congregate near railroad stops, and by 1904, Frisco City was named after the railroad that contributed to its development, the St. Louis-San Francisco Railroad. As time went on, the name was shortened to “Frisco.”
